A 330ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2016. ABV is stated as 6.9%. Purchased recently from the Brewdog webshop. Described on the label as an American-style IPA; brewed at de Proef in Belgium.
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A deep, hazy marmalade-orange hue with fine sediment and medium carbonation. Produces a massive head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before slowly settling as a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of insanely fruity hops with notes of peach, melon, white grape, citrus, subtle tropical fruit, grass/hay, mild caramel malt and earthy yeast. Intensely perfumed - simply amazing.
T: Tastes of incredibly fruity hops with a moderate bitter finish. Notes of peach, melon, white grape, citrus, mild peel, vague tropical fruit, grass/hay, subdued caramel malt, earthy yeast and faint stewed hops. A hint of vegetal flavours in the background. Slightly sweet, followed by a comparitively understated bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and good body. Some mild hop oils on the palate. Could be a tad livelier. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of fruity hop notes, leafy bitterness and earthy yeast.
O: Very nice - intensely perfumed hops by the truck-load. Looks good, while the aroma is stunning; like being buried alive in fruit. The flavour is slightly less balanced, having a green, leafy edge in the background that clashes with the fruitiness. Nice body - could be a shade more carbonated. A true hop-head's delight; don't pass it up if you come across it.

BBD: 10/08/16 (seems a tad generous)
Pours a cloudy opaque orange with a brownish tint. Delicate concentric rings of lace. Creamy foam initially that fades after a few sips.
Aroma is pleasant at first, sweet citrus, vaguely tropical. As it warms there's a harsher note of alcohol that bleeds through unfortunately.
Taste is resiny pine, vague grapefruit peel, malt sweetness underneath the heavy bitterness. Full bodied with a somewhat creamy feel. Dry lingering bitterness. Overall it was alright, but didn't really deliver a fresh Citra punch.
