A special release for the Brazilian market, BrazIPA shows that Mikkeller is talking Brazil seriously as one of its markets. It comes in a stubby 310 ml bottle with a label that looks like a tropical painting. On to the beer:
Somewhat golden yellow with a whispy head on top. In the aroma are grassy and assorted citrus. And the taste....cracker malt at the base of the canvas, grass and some grapefruit hitting onto the canvas. It's somewhat dry, brings modest bitterness, and has a medium body.
It's pleasing. Not really different from any other IPA, but pleasing.
