330 ml bottle poured into a snifter. Golden clear, huge frothy head. Spare lacing. High aroma of hops, tropical fruits. Some pine. Medium high-bitter flavor, low malty notes and some saltiness. Medium body and carbonation. Creamy. Long lasting bitter finish lingering but not harsh and some spiciness best describe a mouth feel.

330ml bottle - a contract brew for the Michelberger Hotel in Berlin.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden amber colour, with a typically teeming tower of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy bone-white head, which leaves some random sudsy Mercator Projection lace around the glass as it very slowly sinks away.
It smells of grainy and gritty pale malt, a touch of spicier wheatiness, white grapefruit, orange, and muddled tropical fruity notes, lemon pepper and ginseng spice, a subtle earthy yeastiness, and further leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, a lessened biscuity wheaten character, some still mixed and matched domestic and exotic citrus and pome fruitiness, tame table-top pepper mill output, weak black tea, and more leafy, grassy, and faintly piney hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite active in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and mostly smooth, but for a tiny bit of that ol' de Proef yeasty astringency prancing about like the village idiot. It finishes trending dry, the malt turning crackery, and the hops shedding a whole schwack of their fruity essences.
Overall, this ain't a bad rendition of the new-world style - lots of varied hoppy esters abounding, all under the yoke of a solid malt backbone. Don't know what this has to do with a hotel in Germany's capital city, but also guess that I don't fucking care - except that this is a good brew for my stretched Canadian dollars.

Beer made for their hotel, good incentive for beer lovers.
Hazy orange color with a thick two fingers head with medium retention and leaving some laces.
Nice tropical aroma with notes of passion fruit, fresh cut grapefruit and oranges, mild biscuit malt, mint and lemongrass. The one you can't avoid going back.
Flavor with notes of pine, grapefruit, mango, ginger, tea leaves, pineapple, tangerine, mild biscuit malt and lemon. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Delicious APA, very tropical and citrusy with the right piney notes. My preferred combo.
