On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.
Hazy amber orange hue, it comes with one finger of creamy white head that stays with average retention before sinking to some bubble film on the surface and leaving plenty of lacing patch and spot.
In a nose, it is peppery, spice, garlic, citrus, lime, peach, apricot, and hint of papaya. Malt is also there with notes of bread and biscuit.
The taste is quite unique with notes of garlic, spice, and pepper. Fruitiness discloses in the middle with the characters of apricot, peach, citrus, lime, and papaya. Malt is there too with its sweet dough and bready profile. There is also subtle bitterness in the finish.
Medium body with smooth mouthfeel and lively crisp carbonation to generate smooth mouthfeel through the palate, finish is very pleasantly dry.
Really unique APA from Mikkeller, it tends to be much spice while still not forsake typical fruity hop and good malt bill.
