330ml bottle - curious as to what method they employed to turn their regular cream ale into this, eh?

This beer pours a clear, medium copper amber colour, with two fatso fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and sort of caked dirty white head, which leaves some attempted sudsy continental drift lace around the glass as it lazily recedes.

It smells of gritty and grainy pale malt, muddled domestic citrus notes, a kind of ephemeral yeastiness, and further leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is somewhat sour yeast, rather dry-seeming cereal malts, some muddled citrus and tropical fruitiness, a slight earthy minerality, a hint of Pilsner gasohol, and more leafy, herbal, and dead grassy noble hoppiness.

The bubbles are fairly underwhelming in their hard to perceive frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and mostly smooth, nothing really going hard or going home here, in terms of muckraking, as such. It finishes off-dry, the generic maltiness doing well by itself in its lingering nature.

Overall, this is yet another decently rendered 'G-F' brew from Mikkeller, wherein the method employed seems to be the scientific way, rather than the alternative grain one - I'm not getting any of the typical buckwheat or sorghum astringencies here. Worthy of a go - but be a tad weary if you are actually fully gluten intolerant (why do I care? I really don't).
