On tap at Kush. Hazy pale orange. Smells of citrus, herbs, resin, pine, and grape juice. Grainy malt. Tastes citrusy and piney. Strong pine with a grape juice and herbal, Nelson-like finish. Light sweetness and grain. Medium body. I expected a juicier IPA from the name, but no complaints as this is delicious either way.

As the addition of Mikkeller's newest brewery lands in San Francisco, the brewers quickly establish themselves as a "west coast" brewing company, introducing a remarkably dry, supremely hoppy IPA with tantilizing tropical, citrus and herbal components.
We's the Juice comes with a hazy golden color, seeming closer to straw against the light. A creamy white froth build on top while aromas of pink grapefruit, orange peel, tangy tropical fruit and an herbal, grassy, sprucy medley carries hints of gin and white wine. Its taste is supple with malt sweetness seeming more honey and wafer-like than caramel.
As the sweetness rapidly falls off the middle palate, the tastebuds are left to contend with the tremendous hop bill without the buffer of creaminess or sweetness from grain. Grapefruit, under ripened orange, lemon, green berry, green grape and juniper create a tangy and fruit sensation while the juicy succulence of dried pineapple, passionfruit and gooseberry follow up with a ripe and rich taste. Grassy, bitter, piney and herbaceous with a gentle waft of hemp lay on the finish while the beer continues to dry.
Dry, crisp, clean and highly refreshing, We's the Juice does the remarkable thing that great west coast IPA do. Without much of a malt rebuttal, the beer showcases hop flavor, aroma and bitterness in the most vivid, bright and uninterrupted way possible. Though not thin or watery, a faint malt structure continues to support the hops and keep their vegetation from becoming harsh. A long and bitter aftertaste is grassy, stemmy and peppery- ushering in the next drink with surprising ease.
