Wit brewed with mango. On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.
Very mildly hazed gold straw in color, it tops with one finger of foamy white head that stands with pretty good retention before sinking to some bubble film atop and leaving numerous lacing patch and spot along the way.
Yes, I got mango in a nose together with lime, orange peel, some clove spice, some wheat twang, floral, and bready malt.
The taste is led by lemony flavor and orange peel. Then malt joins in with its breadiness, graininess, and sweetness while there is some spicy clove in the middle and subtle dry bitterness together with some tartness at the end. Not much of mango in the palate sensation.
Light body with lively carbonation and nice crispness to yield rather smooth mouthfeel and refreshing touch through the palate, finish is dry and rather clean.
Decent Wit I would say, the aroma is nice but it is a bit let down in the taste that is too much of grainy wheat, anyway, still easy enjoyable and good drinkable brew.
