750 mL bottle. Lightly hazy golden. Smells great. Lots of wine, grapefruit, pear fruitiness. Tastes of grapefruit, wine takes over. Oak and wine barrel character. Back end is yeasty and Belgian. Medium body. A touch alcoholic. Really good flavor. Not so much my style, but very tasty.

This is a really unique beer. At first you you will taste fruit notes, maybe like melon, pear, and peaches. Then you will experience something very different. The 2nd half of the beer has a huge sauvignon blanc influence, with a bit of a dry finish. You will be left thirsty!

this isnt for everyone, i realize that, but man, for those who like a nice sturdy and well made belgian pale and a good sauv blanc, this is the cash money! bright and golden from the bottle, i am liking these labels from the san diego mikkeller so far. tall white head, perfect clarity. aroma here is shocking, almost throws the head back on the neck, like, whoa, its huge on the sauv blanc, the most honest white wine i have ever smelled in a beer, its gorgeous with the slightly sweet pale malt base and the bit of botanical herbal belgian yeast. the flavor matches the nose and the wine is even more amplified, the base beer seems almost built for it. highly herbaceous, grassy from the hops, but also with a neat peachy, pear, and spruce complexion, maybe some new oak, a honey sweet malt hint, and a whoosh of carbonation and hop bitterness to finish it off. its an intense flavor experience, but its really dynamite, super unique, and the kind of beer i absolutely love mikkeller for making. super unique, ive never had a beer quite like this. cant wait to source some more!!!
