Pour head retention and a kind of hot glue-like aroma. Resinous flavor that isn't all that bad given the 8.9 abv, with additional caramel/toffee notes. Flirting with ABW territory, but even more hopped-up. A bit harsh at first but mellows out.

@ Tasty Beverage
Hazy orange topped with a small head that slips down to a fine ring. Aromas of mangoes, peaches, and wort. Soft, fresh apricot, peach, and tangerine flavor. Fairly sweet, but not particularly malty - only a light grain sweetness. Medium bodied with a solid bitterness. Surprisingly pleasant and easy-going for its strength.

The easiest way to describe this is calling it New England style, West Coast flavor. Super dank. Very enjoyable. There's almost a smokiness to the flavor...at least for me.
I like it, but would understand if East Coasters would not.

From draft at Mikkeller SF. Pours a hazy copper/amber. Dank flavors on the nose with resinous citrus in the background. Similar palate with plenty of bitterness, and some heat from the 8.9% abv. Well made but not high on the enjoyment front for me.
