Hazy Pale Ale with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, Hall Blanc. A portion of the Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic are lupulin powder. Bright citrus, pine and tropical aroma, with the flavor to match. Medium body with a crisp finish that negs for another sip.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/11/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, white grape, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus zest/peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice complexity and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, white grape, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus zest/peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, white grape, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus zest/peel, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an awesome NE pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Really awesome balance of juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. My can says Simcoe and Hallertau Blanc on the bottom. Awesome hop showcase of both. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

A: Pours a murky medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, earthy, and dank resinous hops over the top of cereal grain + biscuit malts with minimal amounts of sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of cereal grain + biscuit malts with minimal amounts of grainy sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, earthy, and dank resinous hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving a lingering juicy hop flavor.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Lightly crisp with moderate amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and really enjoyable hop flavors and aromas. I could easily have a couple of these.

16 oz can from blipp’s FBW contest. Aroma is yeasty, citrusy, tropical fruit, very juicy. Pours lightly hazy with a light golden hue; has a medium off-white head that falls into a ring after a minute, leaving a little lace. Taste is lightly bitter, dry, yeasty with a ton of dank and fruity character. Very nice.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Murk McGwire 03/07/2017.
A hazy body for sure, not quite supper turbid looking but a decent glow with a mixing dark lemon yellow color. Fine carbonation, reaching to a bleach bright white soapy head. Manages just a little small for an IPA, breaking just over two fingers, with little soapy cling. Some nice lacing rounds out. Solid looking.
Pineapple and dank tropics for a hop angle pretty much burst off the nose. Pineapple and earthy tones, almost getting into a bit of dill and spice make a nice presence. Slightly sensing creamy body and a touch of light sugars round out.
Palate sticks to basics. Light bodied and pale ale simple juice, with a good pushing hop note. Pineapple but also very peppery tasting with a nice playful carbonation and tongue feel. Hints a little cream smooth finish, but sticks to lighter solid pale ale character. More pineapple on the finish, and minor earthy tones of soil and grass hop emerge.
A good solid pushed hop pale ale.

Hazy bright yellow color with a bit of white foam. Aroma has really bright citrus fruits like lemon and lime, green, fresh hops, really nice. Taste follows but not so bright and intense. Citrusy, grassy, medium bitterness on the finish. Light body, good carbonation. Overall it's a really nice, easy drinking NE style session IPA.
