Medium golden-yellow beer, hazed to near-opacity, with a coupla fingers of white foam on top... Real nice citrus and pine blend here, presenting impressions of grapefruit rind and clean pine, rounded off with some lightly sweet orange impressions and an herbal airiness... Sweetness is very mild, bitterness mild-moderate, with a medium-light weight, smoothly carbonated... finishes with a light drying and a clean palate effect... Nice and lean, especially for a DIPA...

A: The beer is very hazy (almost cloudy) pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of orange and tangerine citrus and biscuit malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of mangos and oranges along with notes of biscuit malts and hints of pine towards the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit "juicy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This fits the profile of a New England-style IPA but has interesting underlying notes of biscuit malts.

Smells great. Sweet. Mango. Taste is more grapefruit than anything. Bitter but more citrus rine. Moth feel medium to full bodied. Over all another quality beer from Mikkeller.

16 oz can from blipp. Aroma is tropical fruit, orange creamsicle, yeasty, earthy. Pours completely opaque yellow orange with a collapsing white head leaving some lace. Taste is medium bitter with lots of fruity and yeasty flavors. Good.
