750 mL bottle. Black with almost no head. Smells of strong vanilla, heavy roasted malt, coffee, and rum. Tastes of vanilla, roasted malt, rum. Nice roasted malt flavor. Pretty sweet and boozy, but not overly so. Nice.

After having the Bourbon version, I sure was excited to try this iteration in Rum barrels. Pours pitch black with a small head that quickly vanishes. Vanilla explodes the nose, followed by a hint of rum. Such a rich and creamy mouth feel alongside a huge vanilla flavor really makes this brew taste a lot like a vanilla shake fueled with a hint of rum. While this is a stellar beer, I am going to knock my overall score a bit due to the lack of advertised Mostra coffee.
