Pours hazy orange / golden with off-white head.
Aroma has tons of tropical fruits, pine, malt, bitter hops.
Taste is good old school IPA, really hoppy with pine, ripe stone fruits and dank.

Pours a hazy orange, with soft, fine foam.
Smell is hugely tropical. Soft and fruity, with a lot of pineapple and mango followed by a strong citrus tone.
Taste is sort of a hybrid of West Coast and NE. Juicy pineapple and mango are augmented by powerful citrus and a fairly dense bitterness. Well balanced, and I can see that the goal was to make a hazy version of the classic Alesmith IPA.
Mouthfeel is soft and smooth, well carbonated.
Overall, my favorite from Mikkeller SD so far, just a terrific IPA.

A very delightful, juicy, and surprisingly hoppy NE style IPA.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very hazy pretty orange, with a small head, and a lot of sticky lacing.
This smells pretty great- there's huge melon/grapefruit/sweet orange/other tropical fruits, with a resinous back-end.
This is pretty cool, because it's your typical big juicy NE-style style IPA, with all the fruits listed above. but it has a significant dank weedy and bitter back end- showing the Alesmith West-Coast IPA influence. It's really what I want in an IPA these days, and it hits the spot.
This is crisp and clean, with a nice soft mouthfeel, and a good level of carbonation.
This is really quite delightful. Mikkeller SD has made some nice stuff.

16oz can, served in a willi becher glass. Pours a hazy, medium yellow-orange body, one finger white head, good retention, bits of lacing. Smell is mildly spicy, citrus juice, oranges, light caramel, mild sugary sweetness. Flavour is a mildly zesty orange, grapefruit, touch of lemon, light sugar, touch of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation, smooth and creamy. A solid IPA, a bit more zesty and bitter than expected. Good stuff.

One pint can poured into a snifter.
Hazy yellow color as a showcase with lots of sediment floating, it tops with thick foamy white head that withstands with good retention before gradually subsiding to some bubble sheet atop and leaving lots of lacing here and there.
It is so typically juicy in a nose, tropical, grapefruit, orange, lime, passion fruit, pineapple, kaffir lime, hint of sweet coconut, floral, and grass, all from hop. Malt is in the supporting with its sweet candy and caramel.
The taste is led by juicy and fruity hop of tropical, grapefruit, orange, lime, passion fruit, pineapple, kaffir lime, hint of sweet coconut, and grass. Malt runs in harmony but in the second layer with its candy, sweet, and caramel. Hop wraps up again in the finish with some bitterness and big residual sweetness and fruitiness.
The body is light to rather medium with quite smooth mouthfeel and lively carbonation through the palate. The feeling is crisp and refreshing with a pleasantly dry finish by all those fruit and sweet flavors.
This one got a real bitter punch. The crisp juiciness and fruitiness are there but bitter hop is also there too to make balance. Being in collaboration with Alesmith, it can’t go wrong talking about IPA.
