Copenhagen 26/8 2023. 33 cl can from Kvickly, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Very purple can with drawing of a lady with a quite big blueberry in her mouth.

Pours almost clear burgundy with a mid-sized pink head. Stable. settles as 0,5 cm thick, creamy layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with tart, unripe berries. Sweet blueberries, jam and vanilla. Tart gooseberries and hints of citrus. A bit sharp.

Medium strong yet gentle carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, creamy and lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense and a tad watery. Medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.

Fruity nose but a bit watery.

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours a deep ruby purple color with a one-finger foamy pink head that has great retention

S- tart blueberry, lacto, toasted wheat

T- Light flavor gives way to light tart notes of blueberry and wheat, along with a lacto tartness, more blueberry on the linger

M- light-medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and finish

O- light with just enough bluberry, one of the better ones I've had form them

Poured into a stange, the appearance was a dark purple color with a fairly this off-purple creamy two finger's worth of foamy head. And it really took it's time to dissipate. Lots of lace sticking around the glass practically coating the glass.
The aroma had a touch of sweet wheat just a pinch more forward than the sour tones and the blueberry fleshy sweet to tart and sour character. Noticeable lemon juice bites in closer to the back end.
The flavor brings in a sweeter side of the wheat more than expected then some sweet and tart blueberry tones with lemon juice. Moderate aftertaste of blueberry and wheat.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Finish was a bit sticky through the wheat and blueberry tones.
Overall, so I'm a huge fan of blueberries. But this beer doesn't seem to have much of a 'sour' tone to the wheat like normal Berliner Weisses have. As much as I try to ignore my hidden biases I have to admit this actually doesn't hit the mark for the style.

16oz can. Poured out a ruby/purple color with a large, pink head of foam. It smelled of blueberry and some tartness. Sweet, blueberry with a tart bite and a mild wheat taste.

Had this at the Reno Beer Invitational last week. They brought three cans, tried this one first. Pours a blue and purple kind of color. Small off white pink streaked head in the 1/4" range. Aroma does impart some berriness, you really gotta pack a lot of blueberry into a beer to get it to impact it enough in this way. Nice job.

Taste is full on blueberry juiciness. The sourness is appropriate, the base wheat body seems decent enough to follow tradition and merely give you a lively carbonated light bodied beer as a delivery mechanism for blueberries in this beer. Can't say there was anything I thought it did bad, everything was appropriate. They did a light traditional berliner base, b but dropped a heavy concentration of fruit, especially on this one. One a 1-10 sour scale, they went appropriate and kept this one around a 3.5 - 4. I dig it, if it was affordable and available around during hot weather I'd be sure to pack a 4 pack on down to the river.

A: The beer is very dark purple in color and is nearly opaque (and appears black when viewed from afar). It poured with a half finger high dark pink colored head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a thick coating of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of grape juice are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors that resemble Welch's grape juice, although some notes of blueberries creep in along with bits of sourness.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and is very fruity but hardly has any sourness.

Strong tart aroma, with a hint of blueberry. Pours an opaque red with a full pink head. Strong acid notes to begin with, very crisp and refreshing. The blueberries come through a bit in the finish, but don't add much in the way of flavor. A nice clean, dry berliner.

Pint can, pours with a decent head that settles down, color is a dark cranberry. Smell is a sour blue-cranberry. Taste is of soda water and blueberry with a trace of sour. Feel is great, a mixture of carbonated water and fizzy sour blueberries. Overall, this is a great light Blueberry brew.
