Pours a clear orange with fine, soapy head and some floaties.
Smell is piney with plenty of sap, citrus and some earthiness.
Taste starts a bit sweet and malty, with hints of tea and bloodorange. Piney resin is nex, along with a pretty hefty bitterness. I get almost a red ale-vibe from this.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very tasty west coast IPA, with some red ale influences.

Solid American IPA. Slightly malty, still citrusy with hints of pine.

A: Pours a clear medium to dark copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate golden yellow + honey + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted + biscuit + caramel malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness along with slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, floral, tropical/mango, and pine/resin hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate to strong flavors of toasted + biscuit + caramel malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit, floral, tropical/mango, and pine/resin hops which imparts a just shy of moderate amounts of bitterness which fades away leaving a lingering malty sweetness with some fruity hop presence.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly sticky.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and fairly balanced between malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Enjoyable, a touch sweeter than I prefer but still a very nice beer.
