Pale gold, hazy with a sticky off white head. Sweet malt and grapefruit I there nose. Sweet, creamy beer with a lot of citrus and sweet malt. Quite bitter grapefruit pith finish. Pretty tasty.

Can code 31817, which translates to 11/14/17
Appearance - Pours murky and dirty yellow with an off-white, near two-finger width head. Good retention before breaking down to a thin, consistent film across the surface and a thicker ring around the edge of the glass. Lacing is broken webbing with small spots.
Smell - The aroma is faint, with hints of citrus and light earth.
Taste - Flavor is muted citrus with a bit of earthy bitterness. Distant mango. Light pith can be found in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low carbonation.
Overall - A very underwhelming offering from Mikkeller here.

A: Pours an extremely murky medium golden yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium yellow + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy white head that slowly reduces to couple of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and stone fruit/peach hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit malts with a light amount of lactose + honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit malts with a light amount of lactose + honey-like sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit, citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and stone fruit/peach hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving a slightly sweet lingering fruity hoppiness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Enjoyable though not quite as juicy as some of the other NEIPAs but still having really enjoyable fruity hop flavors + aromas. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.

Not what you'd expect from a typical NE IPA. Hazy in color but a slight lack of flavor and smell. Crisp flavor but not at all juicy in my opinion.
