I thought this IPA was pretty decent even though it was a bit on the watery side

Look: clear golden with a quarter inch white head (in goblet)

Aroma: honey, apricot, pine

Taste: The flavor is mild and sweet honey and caramel, significant tropical fruit, mango, apricot, grapefruit and pine resin at the end. It is well balanced, juicy and very drinkable.

Feel: light-medium but a bit on the watery side and refreshing.

Like that little runt in your toddler’s jamboree class that likes to lick glue, this one is different. Taste is hella on the honey/caramel side like a bumble bee eating a Mars Bar. Let’s continue... As a whole, again, it’s different. It ain’t no Hazy, it ain’t no bitter West Coast hop bomb... It’s just exotic in its own right like Cleo who goes on stage at Spearmint Rhino at 9 PM sharp.

Pours a clear light orange with fine, soapy foam.

Smell is piney and grassy with notes of citrus and juniper berrries.

Taste is piney with a pretty strong bitterness and notes of citrus, pineaplle and some peppery rye.

Mouthfeel is medium and sticky, well carbonated.

Overall, a well done west coast IPA, with good balance and layers of flavor.

This one pours a mostly clear light orange color, with a small white head, and a good amount of lacing.

This smells like bitter dry pine, apricot, grapefruit rind, and a bit of malt.

This is definitely squarely West Coast in execution. It's a bit too dry and grassy, I want a bit more of a dynamic bitterness played off by juiciness. There's a bit of stone fruit and grapefruit, but it's not quite strong enough, as the astringency just kind of dominates.

It's definitely crisp, but not super clean, with that dry astringent bitterness dominating the finish here.

This is one of the lesser Mikkeller SD beers I've had.

Medium gold body is closer to clear than a lot of what I drink these days; coupla fingers of white foam on top trailed fluffy lace clouds down the glass... Elements of fruit and pine at play here, with the fruits suggesting a variety of tropical and orchard fare, and the pine having a nice resinous shellac effect on the palate... Sweetness is very mild, bitterness moderate, and carbonation soft in this smooth, medium-lightweight beer... Julian date reveals a canning date of 7/24/18...

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/6/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, with with moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish. Classic West coast style, fairly aggressive but not overwhelming. Balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Nice change of pace with all of the NE style IPAs they have been making. A really enjoyable offering.
