L: Slightly hazy yellow color, one and a half finger white head, messy lacing, light carbonation. Doesn't look like a NEIPA at all.
S: Tropical fruits.
T: Sweet-ish, hoppy, malty, some alcohol. Very nice but definitely not a NEIPA.
F: Medium bodied, quite balanced.
O: Very nice DIPA but definitely not a NEIPA.

500ml can - a New England Style Imperial IPA. A great brew to have on a day when my city is covered in freezing rain.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with four fingers of puffy, rocky, and somewhat bubbly bone-white head, which leaves some decent tacky snow rime pattern lace around the glass as it rather slowly abates.
It smells of blood orange, red grapefruit, and aged lemon peel, gritty and grainy cereal malt, some faint estery yeast, a hard water flintiness, and some leafy, weedy, and dank piney green hop bitters. The taste is bready and crackery pale malt, a lush orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and kiwi fruitiness, some damp minerality, and more herbal, floral, and resinous piney verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite tame in its ennui-inducing frothiness, the body a solid medium weight, and fairly smooth, with a gentle airy creaminess burbling up as things warm a tad at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, that big frooty character exhibiting some lingering moxie.
Overall - this is certainly a well-rendered version of the style, with a good balance of fruit and forest floor detritus, and very little attendant bitterness. Not to mention the essentially invisible elevated ABV, so what we have here is one dangerously quaffable offering.

This is an imperial New England IPA - very easy drinking: well balanced with nice citrus.

Pours a hazy pale yellow, with fine foam.
Smell is very juicy and slightly tart. Pineapple and orange are the dominating notes.
Taste is like creamy tropical juice with a fairly subdued bitterness and a hint of booze.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a very good juicy IPA with just a little too much booze in the finish.

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma has dank hops, milky yeast and juicy mild fruity notes. Taste is sweet at first, mildly fruity with milky yeast and almost no hop bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth on the palate. Quite good but nothing really special.
