Interesting beer. I do believe this is my first beer with pacific jade or southern cross hops. Pours orange juice like. Super thick off white head. Nose is bright. Notes of tropical fruits, biscuits and floral bouquets. Taste initially great. Huge malt presence that is cut by those beautiful galaxy hops! Huge notes of mango, pineapple and guava that yield to floral under tones. Midway through tho I start picking up a odd bitterness. Not really fruity, not floral, not earthy. Almost like rotten fruit. Now I’m not saying it taste exactly like that just that it puts off a few light notes of rank fruit midway through and I am wondering if it is my unfamiliarity with the Hop bill? Still gave it a 3.75 taste so it’s not altering my perception of the beer too much. Huge creamy body with a large bitter hoppy finish. Finishes very dry, almost too dry. I did enjoy the experience tho and like the name and can as a runner myself.

A: Pours a murky medium to dark golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and light to moderate honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/orange zest, citrus/grapefruit zest, floral, tropical/mango, and herbal hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel malts with a moderate amount of honey-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel malts with a moderate amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of citrus/orange zest, citrus/grapefruit zest, floral, tropical/mango, and herbal hops which impart minimal amounts of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering flavors from the hops.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially crisp with some light smoothness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish. Light amounts of alcohol warming in the finish as the beer comes up to temperature.
O: Hides the alcohol relatively well considering the strength/intensity of this beer and drinks relatively easily all things considered. Enjoyable with a really nice combination of hops flavors and aromas combined with a nice solid malty sweetness. Definitely one that I would grab again.

Poured an inviting hazy orange with a small head that left decent lacing. Orange juice look.
Aroma is zesty citrus with some floral notes.
Taste is mostly citrus as well.
Mouthfeel is medium-full, not too bitter, maybe some lingering booziness but overall pretty pleasant for a strong brew.
Overall an impressive hazy triple IPA that has all the NEIPA attributes but in a more pronounced way. I'm definitely looking out for more offerings from Mikkeller SD.

From a fresh can, poured into a standard tulip glass. A pretty nice tipa. A nice finger of thick foamy head on a fairly aggressive pour down the center. The first 2/3 of the can is simply amazing. It's very juicy, flora, bitter, non-boozy, and with a great heavy-tipa feel to it. Definite alcohol legs, and guite a bit of lacing left on the glass. As it warms, the alcohol does come out quite a lot, which brought the overall rating down for me by a bit. But this was pretty great find, and a nice job by Mikkeller!
