A: Pours a lightly hazy medium golden honey orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat malts, lemon citrus, brininess, and tropical/cantaloupe.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat malts with a hint of bready malts and minimal amounts (if any) of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of lemon citrus and a moderate amount of brininess. Finally there is a slightly stronger than moderate flavor of tropical/cantaloupe. Minimal amounts of bitterness and no discernible hop presence but there is a light lingering tartness through the finish.
M: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp with a light amount of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol, refreshing, and enjoyable. A really nice beer for a warm Spring afternoon/evening here in NC.
