Copenhagen 9/9 2018. 33 cl can from Irma, Kbh NV. Keith Shore drawing of Guy getting his beard yanked by lady in a huge mailbox. Dog looking at the spectacle. Alternative take on the old Danish proverb.

Pours slightly hazy, pale yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is citric and a little subdued. Moderate sweet exotic fruits soon overpowered by a solid dose of grapefruit juice. A bit one-dimensional but nice and fresh.

Medium strong carbonation. Lively, prickly yet thin texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by considerable stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and fruity. Lingers shortly.

Pleasant way to get your beard in the mailbox. Fine Grape fruit juice.

An ipa beer made with craft but without great virtues. I found it lacking forcefulness, mouthfeel, and smell.
Beer is good for people who are not looking for strong and imaginative products

look: smooth one finger white head with good retention and some lacing, beer is a relatively clear golden colour, gentle stream of carbonation flowing up the beer.

smell: nice malt aromas there, biscuity, fresh bread, lot of citrus fruit, orange and grapefruit, nicely sweet, caramel, pretty inviting.

taste: that’s quite a nice west coast ipa, quite malty on the opening, biscuity again, super grapefruity beer, but orange and lemon are there too, sweet but not as sweet as the nose, an earthiness to it, a unique herbal/floral taste to it too near the finish, quite bitter on the finish but in a nice way, fruit flavours linger on for a bit, this is a nice wcipa.

feel: medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, very drinkable, too high an abv for me to session but it sure feels sessionable, lots of lingering bitterness in the back of the tongue.

overall: i’m gonna go ahead and declare this beer underrated, it’s an interesting, flavoursome, properly bitter west coast ipa, good stuff indeed.

Can. Clear straw. Thick frothy head.
Smells of fruity hops.
Taste as per aroma. Some light honey and grass. Medium astringency. A rather strange distant cooked beefburger taste.
Mid range body and carbonation. A bit sticky.
Hmm.

Pours a slightly hazy pineapple flesh coloured body with good white head
If you could get battery acid limeade there is the aroma
Quaffable but not remarkable

Pours a clear, deep golden coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of grainy, caramel malt and a certain floral/soapy note, with hints of citrus/tropical fruit: tangerine, mango. Taste follows the nose, with sweetish caramel, grainy malt and that floral/soapy note at the forefront and lighter notes of citrus/tropical fruit: tangerine, mango and a light grassiness. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and that floral note lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Quite an average IPA with a rather light body/mouthfeel and way too floral flavor profile for my personal taste, verging on soapy.

L- mid-amber, somewhat cloudy, pours with fine pillowy 1Cm white head.
S- Like a combo of lychee and grapefruit, suggesting this is likely hops-forward. Tricky to decide to rate, it has a pleasant smell, just not very beer-like. I settle at 2.5.
T- Grapefuit. Prominent and sour, but then comes a citrus perfume which brings some richness and blance.
F- Curiously per the Taste^ there is a balance there, it's not quite a 'hop-bomb'. Ideal perhaps if you think you'd enjoy a beer as highly citrus as this.
O- It's a curious thing. A Brit who enjoys more traditional brews than this might suggest 'it's too clever by half'. This might have a place on a hot summer's day outdoors competing vs pungent BBQ food, otherwise it rather lacks subtlety or much of a balance of flavours. Not something I will repeat.
'01/08/18-01/08/19' on bottom of 330ML can bought from M&S, London W8.

Bright gold; powder yeast + vague lemon; bread dough, lemon chews, apricot, vague papaya, + slight grassy end; super soft.

4 3.5 3.75 4.25 4

Plays very New England: pillowy, fruity, hazy. Lacking in punch + a touch grainy, yet very drinkable. I like it, in spite of myself.
