Between a bunch of these appearing at Reno's Biggest Little Invitational in 2018 and purchases at New Moon in Truckee, and Berkeley Bowl, I've had each of them a few times now. They all pour a similar hazy yellow, sometimes a shade SRM darker or whatnot (like blood orange) with about 1/3" white head. The aroma on this one was golden and tart.
Taste wise, this is probably the best of the set. I don't know what a gooseberry is, shit I thought these were watermelons on the can, but obviously not upon drinking. You get a lot of lemon primarily, then a lesser amount of green/white grape. There was an almost gose like hybrid vibe with it as well. Unlike some of the fruit forward versions, this one gelled pretty well. Its a great summer beer, levity but lots of flavor. Maybe slightly more sour than a traditional berliner, but nothing problematic.
Only downside is the price. I'm seeing these for $5-6 per can. Pass at that price, as good as it was.

Hazy orange colored beer with a small white colored head.
Smells quite sour. Spicy scent. Not sure what a gooseberry is. There is some sweetness to it but I have never had a gooseberry and can't ID it.
Starts out sour and fruity. Mostly it is just sour.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall I didn't enjoy this very much.

08/02/19 on the bottom of the can.
It pours a hazy pale yellow, loads of foam with good lacing.
Fruity sour nose, kind of lemony but must be more of a gooseberry aroma; caveat, I haven't ever had any, to the best of my knowledge. Just Chinese Gooseberry. ;) I get some wheat.
Very tart taste here. Gooseberry really brings it along with light hints of the sweet, lactic sourness, wheat, finish is quite puckering.
Impressive mouthfeel for a brew this light in alcohol.
A session strength beer that I am happy to session on for 1 can.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden color with a large, off-white head of foam. It smelled fruity with tart lemon and toasted caramel. Sweet gooseberry with a tart bite. Hints of wheat and a mouth-puckering finish.

A: The beer is cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sour lactic acid and gooseberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger flavors of sourness and gooseberries, although there is less lactic acid flavors than what I would have expected from the smell.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and rather tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer really showcases the sourness and flavors of gooseberries. I found it to be quite refreshing. It didn't really have the creaminess on the mouthfeel that you sometimes get from lactobacillus.
Serving type: can

Poured into a Pint Defiance tulip. The body is a cloudy whitish yellow with a two finger white head. Aromas consist of sour bread and some sort of musty unidentifiable fruit (probably the gooseberry, but I have never had gooseberry before). Flavors are similar, but it's a lot better than it smells. The feel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Tart. Sour. Juicy start, and a dry finish. Makes you pucker up and finishes bready

A: Pours a hazy pale straw yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large finger thick cap in the center of the glass surrounded by a large patch of medium thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat malts, tart lemon citrus, and tart lacto. Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of tart gooseberries.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat malts with minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of tart lemon citrus and tart lacto. Finally there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of tart gooseberries - not quite fully ripe ones. There is a light to moderate amount of tartness that lingers well into the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Just shy of moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol, relatively low ABV, and approachable tartness. Nice job of having the base beer complemented by the gooseberries rather than dominated by them. Very enjoyable and refreshing - perfect for the hot summer weather.
