Had this in the can both in June and July of 2018. Having a pour at a fest opened the door for a near in the future purchase.
Pours straw colored golden, appears to be no influence of blood orange on the color. 1/3" white head. The aroma was the more standard lemon wheat sour aroma, not so much blood orange influence here, but its more than in the appearance.
Taste brought the blood orange out of its shell. Still had the same standard base feels, which are good. All that lip smackin sour mash wheat lemon tartness comes out, and this is probably the best version of getting the truest sense of what the base is like, which is another way of saying the fruit influenced this beer the least of any of the I dunno 10 or so that I've had. As usual, they're good, but sometimes up to $6 a can before tax and redemption surcharge is a tad much, but you could say that about any Mikkeller beer, but at least this one is good. I dunno, for the same price, Hottenroth dude.

There are about 1.5 fingers of frothy off-white head, which exhibits a surprisingly good retention and leaves lots of lacing on the glass. In my experience, this is not that common for Berliner Weisses, and the opposite of a different beer I had today in this style. The smell is strange. I can pick out some wheat (not too much), and some oranges, but also this peculiar vinegary chemical tartness. I'm not sure what it is, but it's throwing me off. The taste resembles the nose perfectly. There are oranges, wheat, and that same vinegar. But, the vinegar is much less noticeable in the taste. I don't absolutely love the taste. I think there are much better flavors for Berliner Weisses than oranges. The feel is spot-on for the style. The beer is light, highly carbonated, and easily quashable. Alcohol is obviously not apparent.
Note: As the beer warms, the vinegar notes seem to mostly go away in the smell, and decrease in the taste. Both the taste and the smell still feel artificial.

21/02/19 on the bottom of the can.
Pours a slightly hazy straw gold with a massive head of foam, slowly shrinking, not much lacing.
Strong aromas of tartness, lemony orange, lactic, delightfully sour nose.
Lactic and citrus sour, some orange I reckon cuz of the similar fruity bitterness that I get from unripe blood oranges.
Light body with medium carbonation.
Excellent.

1 PT .9 FL OZ can
Served in a sour glass
This beer pours a brilliant pale yellow and is topped with several inches of fluffy, eggshell head that leaves tremendous lacing. The whole inside of the glass is coated.
The smell is tart and citrusy. The orange stands out marginally.
It has a real nice tartness. The orange plays well with that tart flavor.
Medium, soft mouthfeel
It is a nice tart beer to end a long day in the miserably hot sun.

Pale yellow body, hazy with a big fluffy head. Pungent nose of lactic and sour grain. Taste is strong tart, mildly citric, but not harsh. Finish is pretty clean.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose along with some hints of lactobacillus. Bits of blood oranges also become noticeable as the beer warms up.
T: The taste follows the smell and is slightly sour with flavors of lactobacillus and slight hints of blood oranges.
M: It feels light-bodied and slightly tart and creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink, especially since it isn't that sour compared to other beers in the style.

Served from a can. The look was as expected light yellow with a hint of blood orange. As with any Berliner Weisse the mouthfeel is thin. It has a nice tartness with an exceptional nose of fruit and effervescence. Not over the top but very refreshing.
