a really tasty light kolsch here, quite traditional, super drinkable, i can taste all the elements in a very delicate balance and this drinks easy and summery and refreshing, a good beer for a baseball game, which it seems like a lot of them in here are designed to be, makes sense with the location in the ball field and all. i liked this better than most of the other pale crisp ones in here. golden and clear brew here, slightly brass tinted maybe just a shade darker than is customary, but it doesnt drink any more substantial than the kolsch types of the old world. some neat earthy minerals here, like i can taste the water profile and it seems authentic, yeast is obviously german, and although the hops are super light in here, they add the right little kick to the finish. on a hot day, something crisp and beer tasting like this makes a lot of sense, especially next to some of the really heavy, ambitious, and boldly flavored beers they have working in here, i appreciated that even without it being my specific context. even though we all know and love mikkeller for the weird ones, its nice to have something like this in the lineup. easy.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
