Copenhagen 10/11 2018. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. Cool metallic can with yellow label picturing a guy with shirt, tie and jacket standing along cars. Something red flashing in the background.

Pours slightly hazy, pale yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is sweet and tart at the same time. The Wheat peeking in a candy-like manner, while a solid sourness of tart berries dominates.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour and sweet and lingers shortly.

Middle of the Road Witbier. Refreshing and easy to drink. Solid, but I expected a bit more.

A: The beer is somewhat hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of wheat are present in the nose--hints of orange peel become noticeable as the beer begins to warm up.
T: The taste follows the smell and has notes of orange peel in the finish. No spices are detectable.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This witbier has a lot more wheat flavors compared to other beers in its style and seems a little closer to an American Pale Wheat Ale. In this aspect, it's not as thirst-quenching as other Belgian Wits.

A one pint can, with a canned on date of 26th April 2018. Poured into a white wine glass.

Appearance: A lightly hazy golden colour with a big three finger white head that had great retention and left lots of nice lacing.

Aroma: Perfume-y, floral, coriander, banana and wheat.

Taste: What you’d expect from the aroma with coriander, wheat, floral and perfume-y with hints of banana.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate to low carbonation.

Overall: There was probably a bit too much perfume and floral characteristics than I’d normally like.
