Exactly how it sounds: delicious, chocolatey, milky goodness in a can. While it might not be 16%, it boasts at 10% with a mouthful of flavor. Mikkel wanted a fudgesicle with 400# of lactose and and 150# of cocoa and that's exactly what was brewed. It was a bitch to clean up in the fermentor but well worth it.

L: Pours viscous and motor oil like. Completely black, with a fingers worth of a dark tan head. Leaves the slightest amount of lacing on the glass.
S: Huge notes of chocolate, molasses, and roasted malts. Vanilla becomes more pronounced as it comes to room temp. I get a slight sweetness from the lactose. Smells like a proper dessert stout.
T: Chocolate upfront with some dark fruit flavors and roasted malts. There is also a slight nuttiness to the beer, resembling peanut butter. As it warms, similar to the smell, the vanilla starts to become less shy. The finish is sweet with lingering vanilla flavor and slight saltiness from the sea salt. Delicious.
F: Thick, full, and heavy. I prefer stouts this way. Low carbonation and very enjoyable.
O: Incredible. I have very much enjoyed this brew. I wanted to try it for a while, and I am grateful I was finally able to. Cheers!

Canned 5/17/18, featuring chocolate, vanilla, lactose and sea salt...
Jet black pour into the center of an over-sized snifter put a brief dark brown foam on top of the beer... Genuine chocolate beer - perhaps closer to chocolate syrup than chocolate pudding, but, thanks (I assume) to the sea salt, it is not overly sweet - still a sweet stout of course, but after an initial chocolate blast, it dries out - and yes, upon further sips, it is salt that I taste... The lactose is clearly behind this ridiculously smooth feel and body of the beer, like silk... Vanilla has the subtle role of providing some depth to the beer, making it even richer than it would have been without...
Big-bodied, faintly carbonated, sweet, and super-chocolaty, this beer delivers exactly what the name would suggest.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dark tan head. The head died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark fruits and chocolate are present in the nose along with hints of yeast.
T: Moderate aromas of chocolate pudding are present in the nose.
M: It feels medium-bodied, smooth, and a little creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout has a very nice taste and mouthfeel—it tastes just like chocolate pudding and has a very nice smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
