Impressive viscosity. Really enjoyed this one and had to pick up some more. I agree that it's a little pricey, but it's worth it for dark, malty flavor, ABV, and thickness.

Have I ever given a 5 for feel? Don’t think so! I feel I should focus on feel first and foremost. This think is so thick and silky smooth. Like decedent creamy chocolate mousse. So smooth for 16%. Chocolaty, Coffee, figs, prunes and the ever so slight kiss of rye whiskey and barrel. One of the best stouts I’ve had.

Recent quite pricey release from Mikkeler San Diego. $23 for a 16oz can. Had this on tap twice in a week and was blown away. I haven't cared for mikkelers BA program and have been underwhelmed by the barrel presence but this was outstanding. A zero adjunct BA stout which is not needed. The blending is perfect rich notes of maple, chocolate, rye... this is just insane. Beyond this I've not had a beer this thick come out of California. Highly recommended. This beats out most bottle logic stouts and is easily the best BA stout to come out of San Diego since 2014 BAVSS and some of modern times best.
