Pours a hazy orange with fine, soft foam.
Smell is herbal and citrusy with plenty of piney resin and grapefruit rind.
Taste starts off a bit sweet, before a soft bitterness comes in. On its' coattails comes some minerality, citrus and plenty of piney resin. The bitterness grows with every sip and warmth, but is never unbalanced.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy. Well carbonated.
Overall, a terrific DIPA from two impressive breweries.

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a murky orange yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma is more herbal medicinal but in a good way.
Taste is more of that herbal bitter.
Surprisingly different than usually murky IPAs, but very good.
