Copenhagen 1/1 2023. 47,3 cl can from N'Bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Label mad out to look like a Stone Moaic from a New York Subway station with a characteristic Mikkeller motif.
Pours unclear, light amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and a bit fermented scent mingling with citric notes. Sweet mango and passion fruit. Sharp citrus and grape fruit. Pine and resin. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a slightly stronger citric bitterness.Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour and dry.
Nice and well-balanced with a light fermented touch.

Purchased at a Trader Joe's on Long Island in May 2022.
Meaty aroma, light amber, white frothy head with a retained frothy lace up and down the rim.
This one is hard to pin down. It's a meaty IPA but not really in a tropical papaya sense as is usually the case
in my experience. It tastes a bit more like a Pale Ale with some Hazy notes. It's very, very, crisp. It might be the oats, but there's certainly an extra type of sweetness and alternative malt note going on here. Based on reading the description, it's not overly citrusy but I get a little bit of tangerine rind or orange juice, maybe some dried mango, and I definitely do detect some blueberry which is a bit left-field in an IPA sense. It's pretty good, definitely a different and unique IPA.

Poured this from a can.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, straw yellow body with golden hues. Has a small white head (about a quarter inch thick) with a frothy lacing and solid retention to the finish.
S: very dry, citrusy, strong lemon notes with a fresh, clean sheet floral undertones.
T: clean, subtle earthy notes with biscuity malts coming throw. Despite the high alpha acids of the mosaic hops utilized, the biscuity malts are quite balancing.
M: full bodied and very smooth.
O: Excellent feel and taste combo; excellent beer overall. Hops and malts balance each other out pretty well for a great tasting and, most importantly in my opinion, a balanced IPA.

T) Follows aroma, more citrus fruit salad.
F) Best part, bright, bursty, peppery.

I got a lot of lemongrass and berry in the nose, and the more I read it in the reviews, the more obvious it is that this is blueberry. Get a little bit of pine sol in a good way. Honestly the aroma is pretty fantastic. Taste follows suit. Very easy drinking . Feels soft with medium carbonation. Definitely worth a try if you like mosaic.

Pours cloudy and pale. Thick foam. Bright tropical aroma. Great start. It has a nice floral hop body complemented by a smooth malt profile. Slightly sweet with a slight sweet finish. This is how an IPA should taste.
