We love brewing lagers. We love drinking pils beers. This is our continued venture into learning old world brewing styles, while reinventing some boundaries. Crisp pilsner base with notes of strawberry, lime, and hay. Large amount of oats create a creamy structure while allowing dryness and balance to remain

Pours a clear light yellow with massive head. Took quite a while to pour the whole thing.

Smell is clean, crisp and floral with a bit of maltiness and sweet honey.

Taste is very light and clean. Citrusy, floral and just a hint of biscuity malt. Light bitterness and a dry finish.

Mouthfeel is thin to edium, well carbonated.

Overall, a very crisp and sessionable beer, light but tasty and very refreshing.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raspberries and grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is very much dominated by flavors of grassy hops and has some delicate hints of raspberry flavors from the Monroe hops. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The mouthfeel also has some dryness and chalkiness.
O: The subtle bits of raspberries in the smell and taste of this beer lend a touch of uniqueness to this beer, but it is still true to the pilsener style.
