Poured from fridge temp. Pours a thick black with very little head. The smell radiates immediately. Nose is chocolate milk, a touch of whiskey, malts, cream, and a touch of dark fruit. Taste is insanely smooth and creamy. Chocolate fudge, cream, milk, whiskey, cherries, raspberries, roasted malts, nuts, and a touch of licorice. The mouthfeel is insane - it's almost to the point of being a thick cream. Overall, a fantastic stout. The barrel presence isn't quite as high as some, and the alcohol is completely hidden.

Phenomenal beer. Well balanced and just a real treat to drink. Rye barrels give it nice character. Thick but not so much that it gets to be too much. Well
