i love vic secret hops, one of my favorites, such a unique profile, almost savory more than the classic australian fruity thing, i love them, and this beer is a cool showcase of the varietal, done in the hazy new england style, which for me heavies this up a little bit and slows down drinkability, but it serves as a great way to feature this hop, giving good body and a dry wheaty cereal grounding to the beer overall. the hops are fresh and bursting with character, lightly vegetal, botanical, notes of lemongrass and even white sage or something, lush like aloe, fragrant like lime leaf. some bitterness here too is nice through the fuller dry finish. i even get a little tang on it at the end, not quite tart or anything, but a unique little pop of hop flavor thats decidedly unique. a fun beer overall, among my favorites of the hoppy beers we had at mikkeller nyc, and one of the better examples of how rad this hop can be. the beer is a touch weighty on the palate and in the belly, but the flavor is exceptional. nicely done.

A: The beer is very hazy whitish yellow in color—too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface after it settled down, leaving some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of passionfruit and herbs are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of passionfruit and herbal hops along with additional hints of pine. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA seems to showcase different characteristics of the Vic Secret hops that I haven't had in other beers.
