pleasant aromas of honey malt, grains, and some hints of mango. flavors follows with a thick and fluffy malt flavor that is a touch too sweet for me, some candied fruit invoking mango and orange, perhaps a hint of peach, hint of danky, mellow herbaceous green character, slightest hit of bitterness to provide some crispness, but overall this one tends towards being a bit too thick and sweet, with the hop flavors being muddled and not standing up to the malt. I love a malty IPA that is brings some sweetness but is balanced by fruity, dank, and bitter green flavors. this one lacks that balance and is definitely surprising/underwhelming example of NEIPA. overall a decent offering but i wouldnt revisit.
