Cartoon label of Flintstones meets the Mario Brothers or possibly H.S. Thompson. Canned July, 14, 2020.
Murky, grayish lemon yellow color with a tall, bright white head of fluffy foam. Big soapy bubbles persist with sparse lacey remains.
Aroma is sugar coated grapefruit with some apple and "fresh" juice. Some malt shines through but in the background.
This is a soft one. Light malt flavor up front with some lemon zest zing coming on right behind. Some tasty, balanced flavors of toasted grain and citrus hops blend well while a subtle but firm hop bitterness peppers the back of the mouth and throat. Almost medium bodied I feel at first but quickly this one drops off the table. Flavor and malty mouth feel both disappear abruptly leaving that mild, peppery aftertaste.
This drinks almost like a 5% session pale ale - not quite sure how these soft and barely bitter beers qualify as IPA's but apparently someone thinks they do.
Interesting flavors I just don't get the name. IPA doesn't mean what it used to it seems.
A soft and tame session ale that may sneak up on you at 6% abv.

From a 16oz can dated JUL/14/2020. Pours a pale, hazy yellow with nice tropical fruit notes on the nose and palate. Nice dankness and pleasantly bitter. I might put this in the American Pale Ale category, rather than an IPA, but it is very enjoyable. Perhaps the 6% abv automatically puts it in the IPA zone.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation along with faint hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of stone fruit along with notes of mangos and melons. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and slightly juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the aromas and flavors of stone fruits in this IPA as they were quite unique compared to other beers in the style.
