Solid beer. Fruited stouts aren't usually the easiest to find but whenever I come across one, I typically find myself wishing there were more out there. This is no different. The blackberry and spices added to this beer, combined with the richness of the rye barrel aging makes for a thick, sweet yet subtly tart beer that sort of reminds me of a slice of blackberry pie with some coffee on the side. Boozy but it sorts of works because this beer is a little sweet so you'll definitely want to sip, not chug.
