On tap.
L: Motor oil black. 2 fingers of head, supple lacing on glass.
S: Loads of vanilla, bakers chocolate, then molasses. Love that vanilla smell. Sweet, warm, and inviting. Very mild bourbon presence.
T: Loaded with chocolate flavor. Flavors of molasses, black licorice also detectible. Vanilla is definitely there, which is making the whole experience. The bourbon really starts to come out as it warms. It is slightly hot, but is no where near boozy. The bourbon cuts back on the sweetness from the other adjuncts.
F: For a beer of this magnitude, it's near perfection. Thick, full, creamy and slick. Low carbonation, full-on palate coating. Booze definitely noticeable but not overtly so.
O: Damn easy to drink for the abv and super enjoyable. I would love to try from the can/bottle and see how it stacks up compared to on tap. The vanilla has me wanting more. I would drink again, and I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!
