Pours a hazy orange with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is fruity and juicy, with notes of mango, citrus and orange sorbet.
Taset is fruity with a mineral tinge to it. Notes of citrus, mango, and some floral hints. Moderate bitterness with a hint of licorice, well balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice IPA, well balanced and easy to drink. Slightly thin for the style, maybe.

Pours a murky, milky yellow with a fairly well retained fluffy one inch white head that left some spotty lacing. Smells of tropical fruits followed by some citrus fruits. Tastes of orange, pink grapefruit, a bit of grapefruit rind, pineapple, peach and some sweet malt on the finish. As the beer warms the bitterness increases. Medium bodied and carbonated, dry and moderately bitter finish.

Can dated 2/6:
In the natural sunlight in which the beer is poured, the beer has a nice slightly rusted yellow glow to it. A standard frothy/soapy white head waits for me to dig in. I start with the nose, of course, and simply tilting the glass for a whiff yields an arch of white lace. That lace doesn't stay as thick the whole glass, but still has a presence when I am done with it.
The nose is quite interesting, with a twist; initially I had tropical fruit with a bit of sweetness that had me checking if this had either lactose or vanilla. I originally got papaya and pineapple, but as the beer started to warm as I drank it the nose migrated towards the flavors with a little more citrus rind and cereal-like grain notes.
Taste is not as sweet as I expected from the nose, even after my initial expectations for this were tempered. It's actually a bit more fruit juicy, more citrusy (orange w/white grapefruit) than tropical. The malt provides a strong stage for the fruit flavors, along with what I assume is oat or wheat that also provides a bit of the balancing bitterness. The beer leans slowly towards bitter with a certain woody aspect (which could also be aided by how oat appears to my palate). The beer shows a little bit of a tropical side with warmth, but stays mostly citrusy.
Not as soft as I'd like from a NE IPA, but full enough to give my palate something to grab onto. Once I settle into this beer, it does tend to have a decent swing from a citrus juicy opening to showing a balancing malt presence to showing a bit of bitterness in back. I wasn't sure if I liked it initially, but it definitely became more interesting and enjoyable as I drank it.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass after it settled down.
S: Moderate aromas of limes and passion fruit are present in the nose along with hints of peaches.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of limes along with notes of peaches and hints of passionfruit. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA is nice and juicy and has a nice balance of citrusy and tropical fruit hops.
