A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high light tan colored head that left a collar around the edge of the glass after it settled down.
S: Moderate aromas of dark malts with bits of roast are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of dark malts with hints of roast and coffee.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, smooth, and a little airy on the palate with a moderate amount fo carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink. I wouldn't say it is as smooth and creamy compared to other beers in the style, but its body is nicely light and airy.

Pouring out of the bottle it appears a dark mahogany color that looks black in the glass. A wisp of a creamy head quickly dissipates.
Aromas of nutty and lightly roasted malt. Notes of cocoa powder, dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Aromas of oats and a hint of dark fruit.
The taste favors a full flavored malt profile that is nutty and moderately toasty in flavor. Although there is an underlying sweetness, it is balanced by a moderate bitterness from the roasted malt and hops. Flavors of oats, dark caramel malts, bittersweet dark chocolate and earthy/woodsy hops. The finish is roasty and with a lingering bitterness that grows throughout, redolent of espresso.
Full bodied, creamy and smooth. The carbonation is moderate. Balanced at first, it becomes roastier throughout the drink.
A fine and drinkable oatmeal stout that is smooth and roasty. Nice and full bodied yet drinkable via its approachable ABV.
