Canned 3/25/19. Pretty excited that I stumbled upon this. Needless to say, I am looking forward to trying.
L: The most disappointing aspect to this beer, at least in terms of color. The color is a muddy deep yellow color with almost a tan tinge. It isn't that vibrant yellow that I love in NEIPAs. Truth be told, the color is dull and looks oxidized. Color aside, the head retention and lacing is fantastic. About 2 fingers of a dense, frothy white cap sustained rather nicely, while the amounts of residual lacing is very pleasing. The lacing coats the sticks to the glass, something that I love. The head and lacing salvages the appearance significantly in my opinion.
S: This thing smells so deliciously fruity. Dominant aromas are of peach, nectarine, banana, orange, kiwi and a touch of lemon. Mild bready sweetness coming through, which I am perceiving as flaked oats of some sort. There is zero hop character to this beer apart from a very mild green grass presence.
T: Tastes just like the juice bomb I would expect from the nose, comprising a perfect citra showcase. Here, I get bold flavors of orange, grapefruit and tangerine along with healthy doses of mango, peach, nectarine, bubble gum, plum, pineapple and banana. Oat flavor is definitely involved adding a bread-vanilla foundation. The finish is very citrusy with mild hop character. Very delicious.
F: Superb feel. Light in weight but retains a medium body. The beer is soft, creamy, lofty and pillowy. If the weight wasn't so thin it would be in the 4.75 category, but it is still phenomenal. Carbonation is on the lower end of moderate, which I think is perfect for a beer of this stature.
O: Honestly, apart from the color, I can't knock much from this beer. The abv is in the range that I enjoy most, and it features one of my favorite hops in the NEIPA scene. They did justice for Citra, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am very grateful to try this, and I would most certainly drink again. Cheers!

Nice hazy IPA with a San Diego take with the dry hopped citra in the recipe. Nice color (not too hazy) and foamy head on pour from 16 oz. can. Aroma is nice tropical fruits and barely any piney notes. Refreshing taste and finish and could drink this all day if it weren't for the 7.0% ABV.
