This is why I like coffee stouts. This one is strong with the coffee flavor, hearty and full bodied. A little too sweet tho. Overall, a super offering, will repeat!

Served in a teku glass from the can.
Appearance: Thin semi transparent almost opaque but thin. Brown body with medium to full carbonation and a tan head rising almost one finger's length off the body.
Smell: espresso and malt, smooth warm cream to go with.
Taste: Almost like a milk stout which kinda feels like it has lactose sugars in it creating a sweet coffee finish. Complex but simple, think of espresso with a shot if warm cream and touch of caramel with a scoop of brown sugar.
Mouth: medium body. With an above average stickiness.
Overall: descent brew but not what I expected. Better stuff out there, but worth sharing the can if you just want to taste. Salud!

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a finger high tan head that quickly settled down but consistently left a thin layer of dark beige bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark malts are present in the nose along with notes of coffee beans.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of coffee beans and faint bits of roast.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with a lot of coffee in the taste and would make for a good weekend breakfast beer.
