As the peanut butter is quite subtle, this beer develops well and is never really overwhelming. It's a more balanced stout, where the coffee and cocoa are complemented by the peanut butter and maybe even some fruit and nice bitterness.

Im a fan. The wheatwine itself has a natural sort of sweetness thats boosted by the cocoa and PB flavors but the coffee comes in and helps tone it down by way of adding a nice roasted element. Nonetheless, there's still an interesting mix of flavors going not entirely like any beer Ive had before. Its got a smooth and sort of velvety finish to it and although you dont feel the sting of the 13% initially, you'll notice it once you stand up.

Definitely excited to see Horus as a collaborator on this one. Poured from fridge temp from a can. Pours a nice dark brown with very little head. The nose is really interesting. Lots of nuts, wheat, slight toffee, cherries, wood, and a touch of smoke. Taste is very nice. Much more caramel, and a good amount of nuts, chocolate, and a tree sap/citrus peel bitterness. The aftertaste is really bitter. It actually gives a slightly bad aftertaste (to me). Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and the alcohol (13.7%) is not detectable. Danger zone! Overall, this is an interesting beer.
