Undated can; drank 8/6/19 @ the Carriage Inn.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE dark khaki head; frothy lace.
Milk chocolate, maple syrup, medium roast coffee bean & faint vanilla notes in the nose.
Creamy, thick mouthfeel.
Milk chocolate, espresso bean & maple syrup flavors up front; charred s'more smokiness on the finish.
A sweet but delectable treat. Hope I have another!

large airy bubbles. artificail-flavoring kind of tasting. kind of. still pretty yummy but gaggingly rich half-way through the can.

I must say I’m very picky when it comes to adjunct stouts and breakfast stouts.. with that said, this is right on the money
Pours a thick dark black color with a nice brown head. Notes of maple and chocolate on the nose. The taste accordingly follows with a ton of coffee, chocolate, and maple. What really puts this over the top is how well balanced everything is. Not one aspect of the beer over powers another everything seems to be in perfect harmony . Simply amazing

Canned 4/18/19, consumed 5/25/19
Pours deep oily black with a big, thick, creamy brown head, great retention and lots of thick lacing.
Very nice aroma of toasted malt, coffee, and maple syrup - great smooth balance without overbearing sweetness. Cinnamon plays a small background part here.
Taste follows, again very well balance of all the flavors, pick up more cinnamon but love that it's not spicy or hot in any way.
Feel is a very nice smooth & creamy, great med/full body, sweet but not too sweet, no bitterness.
Overall, terrific pastry-style stout that wasn't crazy sweet, all achieved without lactose, well done.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours motor oil black with a good amount of light brown head. Wow, this is viscous! Huge maple on the nose, exactly what I was hoping for. This reminds me of Lorelei from Omnipollo. Definitely picking up milk chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, and roasted malts. Taste generally follows the nose, but the coffee comes in here. Tons of maple, thick creamy chocolate, lactose, vanilla, cinnamon, and light coffee. Not overpowering at all. This is just a tasty treat with a super thick mouthfeel. Overall, something to seek out.
