Started out great in the looks department. Beautiful frothy head and and nice lemony clear look. Went downhill a little as the lemongrass yeastiness nose had a certain sour quality. Then it hit rock bottom with something that on initial taste wanted to be a belgian dubbel with all the alcohol upfront with none of the complexities. The lemongrass is more evident in the nose than the palate and you're left with this grassy, malty boozy mess. Not very pleasant in the aftertaste either.

-cloudy, pale yellow tap pour with 1.5 cm foam cap and a candi-sugar and lemon-drop aroma. The flavor is cloyingly sweet, too much for me. The mouthfeeel is thick. I think that a light, lemongrass influenced Saison is a good idea. This is not it.
