A glowing Double IPA hopped aggressively with Citra, Mosaic, and Cashmere - Bright orange in color; brimming with layers of lime zest, pineapple, and dankness that leap out of the glass. Medium bodied, with biscuits and sweet orange cream on the palate. Complex and refreshing.

The description on this post is spot on so I won't go into detail about color, etc. Overall it's a double IPA that has the boozyness of a double but tastes like a regular NE style IPA. I was hoping for those hops to resonate but they kinda fell flat and got all muddled together. Still a great beer; I'm just holding Mikkeller to a higher standard because their other beers are just so damn good.

Poured from a 16oz can to a nonic. Sadly this can was dated 9.11.19.
Not much of an aroma, faint citrus.
Taste is kind of sugary honestly. There is lemon and dankness, but not heavy. Alcohol is obvious.
Decent carbonation but still good mouth coating.
Judging by the fact that there are only 3 other reviews here, all dated last fall, this beer was a small, one-off release. I gave it a 3.75 out of sympathy because for its age, it was not horrible.

Pours a bright pineapple yellow with a huge white head that gradually fades but leaves fantastic lacing. Aroma is bold, a mix of tropical and citrus fruits. Flavor is more melon and berry than the nose would suggest along with the other fruits. More malty than I expected too although the born on date is almost three months ago. Actually the malt adds to the appeal for me. Feel is creamy yet adequately carbonated. Overall a great beer that is easy to drink.

Appearance: very hazy, cloudy peach color. White head with good retention and body. Very good lacing.

Nose: tangerine, grapefruit, orange rind, little bit of honey.

Taste: carbonation forward, peach, pineapples, some citrus. Light body with a peppery cracker taste that lingers from the finish. Finish is a bit dry with a wheat taste that stays for a bit.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 9/10/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, coconut, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 8.1% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; awesomely soft feel for the ABV. Fantastic Citra, Mosaic, Cashmere profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.
