We meticulously replicated Dublin water to create a smooth Dry Irish-style Stout with subtly sweet aromas and a distinctly mellow roast.

Added by Act 25. 1st Review. Actually brewed at Mikkeller Citi Field in Queens NYC. (and actually a dry stout)!
a) Brown body ample head scant lace.
s) Perfect roast dry stout aroma.
t) Followed by see-saw roast to sweet to dry toast finish.
f) mid weight like guiness, but dryer.
o) Great food beer, tonight with sushi.
Sum greater than parts. Welcome to NYC and our water!

A: The beer is black when viewed from afar; when held up to the sun traces of dark reddish brown are visible throughout the glass. It poured with a half finger high light tan head that died down but never completely faded away and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dark and roasted malts are present in the smell.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of dark malts with a good amount of roasted malts. There is a moderate amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a bit smooth, and rather dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The dryness lingers into the finish.
O: This beer is quite dry and reminds me a lot like a Guinness Extra Stout (the original version, not the draught version), except that there are more flavors of roasted malts.
Serving type: can
