Just faintly hazy deep gold to light copper, with a small white head. Head fizzes away after a minute, leaving no lacing.
Smells like apple pie. Tart red and green apple skins, baked apple flesh, cinnamon and clove, a hint of lemon, and biscuit malt.
Tastes like both sour fresh and baked sweet apples, a bit of lemon zest and lactic acid, cinnamon and a hint of clove; warm fall spices. Toasted biscuit malt, a touch of hay, and a smidge of vanilla sweetness ties it all together.
Light mouthfeel, but not watery. Fizzy carbonation.
