Copenhagen 24/9 2019. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Naked Metal can with green label with Keith Shore drawing of a fellow with a hat buying Citrus fruit from a vendor.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and slightly herbal. Sour sweet Yuzu, sweet malts, cardboard, lemon, citrus and quite strong odor of ginger.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a tang of ginger. Lingers shortly.
A bit too herbal and sweetish for my taste buds. I am afraid I am just not too crazy about what they are trying to emulate and give a twist.
