Velvety Imperial Stout brewed with chipotle peppers, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, vanilla beans, and lactose. Earthy smoke and dark chocolate aromas. Rich ganache notes sit atop subtle warming spices, and sweet dessert undertones. Luscious mouthfeel and big body.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high tan head that settled down a bit but consistently left a thick head covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chipotle peppers are present in the nose along with notes of cinnamon and hints of roasted malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts out with spicy flavors of chipotle peppers and has underlying notes of cinnamon with hints of cocoa. The spiciness lingers into the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied with some heat on the palate and a bit of dryness. There is a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is definitely a spicy stout, but the chipotle peppers don't nearly make this quite as nearly as spicy had other varieties such as cayenne or habanero peppers been used. No alcohol is perceptible in the taste.
