5l bottle from Tavour. Pours out flat and still, dark brown, oily. Yet still waters run deep. Big chocolaty aroma greets the nose followed by some sweet maple notes. Coffee and chocolate wrestle for dominance in the taste, lathered by a nice layer of maple syrup. Alcohol rises slowly in the back while a dry bitterness coats the palate.
