We took advantage of the amazing aromatics released via biotransformations during warm dry hopping to produce this ultimate Hop Nerd Beer. A heavy base of pilsner malt helped set the stage for this Double IPA, Dry hopped with Centenal, Citra and an excessive amount of Galaxy. This New England Style Double IPA is loaded and overflowing with tropical, citrus fruity aromas.

Canned 4/8/21; drank 6/19/21 @ Hannah & Kenser's.
Opaque light orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge white head; strong, frothy lace.
Orange citrus & baking soda notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Orange citrus, baking soda & dry wheat flavors.
A bit off; it's drinkable, but not real enjoyable.

A: The beer is rather hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of limes and pineapples are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries with notes of coconuts and hints of limes and lychee.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer hardly tastes like an IPA but has lots of tropical aromas and flavors.
Serving type: can
